GREENSBORO, N.C. — The teenager behind the wheel of a car involved in a crash that killed three teens was driving 95 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to an accident report released Wednesday.
The crash on Westridge Road Sunday killed three teens and injured a fourth. The vehicle was going 90 mph upon impact, according to Greensboro police. The car traveled approximately 120 feet after impact, according to the release from the Greensboro Police Department.
In addition, the 15-year-old driver — who lost control of the 2004 Nissan Maxima — did not have a driver’s license or a learning permit, police said Monday.
Deondre Millner of Greensboro lost control of the Maxima while driving north on Westridge between Green Forest and Double Oaks roads at 2:25 a.m.
